What Latvians buy cigarettes: the top 10 brands, market-leading

The most popular cigarettes in Latvia in the first half of this year were Winston, Philip Morris and Marlboro, according to the information of the Office of excisable goods the State Revenue Service (SRS). Next in popularity is followed by L & M, LD, Caines, Rothmans, Chesterfield, Kent and Pall Mall.

The largest manufacturers and importers of tobacco products at a cost of sales in the first six months of 2016 production were Philip Morris Latvia, Baltic Sales Network and Greis Logistika.

In total in the first half of 2016 for the retail trade in Latvia it was directed 937.998 million cigarettes - by 4.9% more than in the first half of 2015.
